Traditionally, students of management had functional options like finance, marketing, human resource management etc. but times have changed. Today, many new areas of studies have been developed, for instance: entrepreneurship, family businesses, agri-business etc. To cater to these growing areas, we are currently offering specializations in:

The MBA program consists of core course credits and elective course credits. A course can be of one, two, three and four credits. The total credits offered during the program are 130. One credit is equivalent to ten and half hours of teaching/contact sessions. The M.B.A. program covers thirty-five teaching courses including one seminar course and a Master’s level dissertation. As part of the program, every student undergoes three (one mandatory and two optional) internships to help them understand the application of the theory learned in the class and real life challenges to these applications.

  • 30% (19 seats) Horizontal reservation shall be applicable for Female candidates for admission to MBA Programme.
  • 05% {03 seats for MBA programme} Horizontal reservation shall be applicable for Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PWD).
  • Three additional candidates may be admitted over and above the sanctioned intake under All India General Category every year for MBA programme through NMET (NALSAR Management Entrance Test – PG)/CAT to meet the future vacancies due to withdrawal of candidates after admissions.
  • 20% (13 seats) shall be allocated to Foreign National category over and above the sanctioned strength.

The admissions to the M.B.A. Degree Program will be made taking into account the CAT / NALSAR MANAGEMENT ENTRANCE TEST (NMET) scores, SOP, Group Discussion and Personal Interview. 

The following shall be the pattern of the NMET:

a) Language Ability & Logical Reasoning         : 30 % weightage 

b) Data Interpretation & Quantitative Ability :40 % weightage

c) Business Aptitude                        :30 % weightage


Those who qualify the NMET/CAT will be shortlisted and the short-listed students have to appear for the Group Discussion and Personal Interview. Students shall also submit the Statement of Purpose (SOP) individually as per the schedule and format indicated by the admissions committee. The weightage of each component is given as follows:


a)NMET/CAT : 50 % weightage

b)Statement of Purpose (SOP) : 10 % weightage

c)Personal Interview : 20 % weightage

d)Group Discussion : 20 % weightage

Note:

  1. There shall be an increase of Rs.5,000/- p.a. for Indian Nationals and students from SAARC countries and Rs.10,000/- p.a. for students from Non-SAARC countries in the Tuition Fee every academic year for the 5-year integrated M.B.A. Degree Programme.
  2. Payment towards Mess shall be made separately by the students in advance on yearly basis which comes to approximately Rs. 35,000/- p.a.
  3. The fees / charges are provisional and subject to revision from time to time as per the decision of university bodies.
